Our Story

At Breadcraft, every loaf begins with patience, passion, and purpose.
We started with a simple idea — to bring the warmth and flavor of handcrafted artisan bread to Toronto tables. What began in a home kitchen soon turned into a craft of love, where every dough is mixed, shaped, and baked with care.

Our founder believed that real bread should taste honest — free from preservatives, made with time, and full of character. From the swirl of a chocolate babka to the golden softness of brioche, we let each creation tell its own story.

The Breadcraft Box

Because we believe variety is joy, we created the Breadcraft Box — a curated selection of four signature breads beautifully packaged in our eco-friendly box with the Breadcraft logo. It’s perfect for gifting, sharing, or simply treating yourself to a week of fresh artisan flavors.

Our Philosophy

We bake with intention: Slow process. Honest ingredients. Real flavor. Every loaf is a reminder that good things take time. Whether it’s the crisp crust of sourdough or the soft sweetness of brioche, we aim to bring warmth to every table and connection to every bite.

Our Promise

At Breadcraft, we promise freshness, authenticity, and craftsmanship in every loaf. We bake small batches daily so that you always enjoy bread that’s alive with flavor — bread made the way it’s meant to be.

Our Craft

Breadcraft is more than a bakery — it’s a commitment to slow, mindful baking.
We use natural fermentation, high-quality flours, and simple ingredients that honor traditional methods. Our goal is to balance authenticity and creativity, offering both classic favorites and modern twists such as:

  • Rustic sourdough with natural starter

  • Soft brioche with a buttery crumb

  • Fluffy focaccia infused with olive oil and herbs

  • Rye bread with sultanas, rich in flavor and texture

  • Orange pistachio chocolate bread, a sweet artisan fusion

About the Baker, Mo Ketabi

Hi, I’m Mohammad Ketabi, the founder and baker behind Breadcraft.
My journey into baking started far from the kitchen, I’ve spent years working as a Web App Developer, designing and building digital experiences with precision and creativity. But in between lines of code, I found peace in something simpler, the rhythm of mixing flour, water, and salt, and watching dough come alive.

Bread, for me, became a form of mindfulness. It taught me patience, balance, and the beauty of slow creation. What began as weekend experiments soon turned into a passion for artisan baking, inspired by the art of fermentation and the stories behind every loaf.

Today, Breadcraft is my way of blending craft and care, the same attention to detail I bring to coding, now poured into every batch of sourdough, brioche, focaccia, and babka. Each bread I bake reflects both tradition and curiosity, a reminder that creativity can rise anywhere, even from dough.

I believe bread connects people, it’s warm, humble, and honest. Through Breadcraft, my goal is to share that connection with you, one loaf at a time.
